Last year, Apley Classic Car Sunday was a gloriously English country Sunday, attracting over 85 cars. Every year, registrations start earlier & this year they include classic motor bikes (we had a few side cars last year).

The Black Country Classic Car Club have just been in touch to register their members for the Apley Classic Motor Day (the new name we’ve given the event this year). They sent me this about their club: “Black Country Classic Car Club is the ‘all-make’ Classic Car Club for owners & enthusiasts alike. It’s an informal but organised social car club, established in May 2003 with over 60 members. They offer friendly advice, fun club events, breakfast runs, evening road runs & classic car shows. We also offer insurance discounts, valuations & information on shows throughout the year. They hold an informal meeting every other Tuesday at 8:30pm in The Old Swan (upstairs), Halesowen Road, Netherton, Dudley, West Midlands, DY2 9PY, where they welcome new members. https://www.blackcountryclassiccarcluk.co.uk

It’s a great day out for the whole family. Be the first into the Creamery Cafe for Sunday breakfast at 10am or book in for Sunday lunch. Enjoy a country walk on the Skylark Nature Trail with an Apley picnic.

Cars & Coffee at Redditch

Cars & Coffee in Redditch

This event is held four times a year at Great Escape Classic Cars, Unit 26, Dunlop Rd, Hunt End Industrial Estate, Redditch, Hereford and Worcester B97 5XP.

This event is organised by Great Escape Cars who are offering free coffee and bacon butties to classic car owners and donating £1 to Acorns Children’s Hospice for every car that comes along.

Read below for more information:
or go to greatescapecars.co.uk

Information below copied from Great Escape Cars website:

The idea is pretty simple. We open our doors to any classic car owner or enthusiast from 10am to 12pm.  We have barista-made coffee on site, hot rolls for the first 50 car owners who turn up and we give £1 to Acorns Childrens Hospice for every classic car that attends. Typical turnout on a Cars & Coffee event is over 100 cars, including a huge variety of cars that you don’t normally see out on the road.

Our unit is down a quiet cul-de-sac that provides safe parking for the cars and a safe environment for wandering around them.  We will have several of our classic hire fleet on display.  And if you own a classic you’ll have the chance to talk to our workshop team.

Our Cars & Coffee events are informal and open to all. We want to share our passion for classic cars and help an important local charity. The dates are below – no need to book just call 01527 893733 for more details or email info@greatescapecars.co.uk.
