Wings & Wheels Event in April 2017 at Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airfield, Bobbington near Stourbridge, DY7 5DY.
Halfpenny Green has held a number of both Wings & Wheels and dedicated 1940s events in recent years although there were no events held in 2016.
New for 2017, the core element of the flying side of the event is an established ‘Radial & Trainer’ fly in, previously held elsewhere and coming to us for the first time. It promises to be a significant event in the flying calendar with historic civil and military aircraft and other ‘interesting’ types scheduled to appear on Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th April 2017. This is not an airshow, but there should be plenty of aerial action with historic and interesting types arriving and departing throughout the weekend.
As part of the team getting this event established we hope to attract an equally interesting and eclectic mix of attractions on the ground to make it a true ‘Wings & Wheels’ family event and would be pleased if you were able to attend.
