We have a confirmed stand for the Practical Classics and Restoration show at the NEC in March.

We have confirmed the exhibits are the club van, Russ’s Capri Rogers TR3 and Steve’s Mercedes 190e.

We will be active on the stand this year so any volunteers for representing the club on the stand should be prepared to get their hands dirty working on the Mercedes whilst we’re at the show. After all it is the Classic and Restoration show!!!

Roger is taking his TR3 to the NEC where it will be on display on the Practical Classics stand after they asked for owners of cars featured in the early editions to get in touch and Roger got in touch with them as his TR3 was a feature in their first edition back in 1980.

Anyone who wishes to volunteer to help man the stand and/or assist Steve in fitting new parts to the Mercedes whilst we’re at the NEC please contact Neil.

Important information regarding the show

It is with great sadness that Clarion Events has decided to postpone the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show with Discovery.

The event team have been continually monitoring the latest public health and government guidelines regarding the evolving COVID-19 situation and acting in accordance with their advice.

The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors, partners, contractors and staff is the most important factor and therefore the only action for all involved is to postpone.

We are working with the NEC to find suitable options to reschedule the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show with Discovery, please bear with us as we work to secure a new date line.

Tickets already purchased will be valid for the rescheduled date. We will be in touch with all our visitors as soon as we have more information to share. We will keep you updated via our newsletters, website and social media channels.

We are truly sorry that we have had to make this extremely difficult decision and thank you all for your patience, understanding and support in this unprecedented situation.

Classic Car Auctions will be running their auction at the Warwickshire Event Centre. Please visit for further details, including how to view and bid.
